Food - Fresh baked bread? Why not! This place was a treat. I ordered the mocha, mushroom pie, Roman Pizza, and chocolate cake. I think the Roman pizza didn't meet my expectation because the bread was a bit too thick, and the cherry on it didn't quite hit the sweet spot. But everything else was spectacular. The chocolate cake had a hint of orange flavor, and I pleasantly happy with it Service - Friendly and patient staff. Strict about outside food not being permitted. Ambiance: 11/10. They have a cute lil rooftop garden. Bathroom is hygienic with a cute lil frame that says "I like flour". :)

I was in the area looking for a light breakfast and somewhere to kill an hour or so. The pastries and the rooftop area caught my eye, so off to The Flora Bakehouse we go! My fiance and I ordered a drip, a mocha, regular croissant, and triple cheese onion croissant. We also grabbed a blueberry muffin and regular croissant to go for the next day. The drinks were pretty good, nothing to rave about, but it was enough to get my day started. The croissants though.. They were buttery, flakey, and sooo airy. I loved the triple cheese onion croissant, especially when I got to the middle and got a nice surprise full of caramelized onions. The girl that took our order was patient with me and how long it took me to decide on what to get. I wished my name or drink order was called out when ready though.. Turned out our hot drinks were sitting on the counter without a lid for a bit and when I went to ask if they were mine, the barista seemed annoyed that I even asked. The rooftop area was exactly how I envisioned it. It was perfect for the beautiful morning and a great spot to chill at and watch some planes go by.

Craving a quality croissant and thought of visiting The Flora Bakehouse again. I decided to drive from the Eastside to Beacon Hill because one should not be deterred by I-520 bridge being closed all weekend or traffic jams today. Gotta be honest that parking or potential sellout of favorites can be stressful any day at this bakery. I had an extra driver with me in case I couldn't find any street parking within a block and have to wait in the long line. At 10:30 am, the line was 4 people deep, the cases looked fairly stocked, and they had the 2 main croissant items I had been thinking about. Service was friendly inspite of a busy morning. My box of bakes included: Redmond pepper and cheddar scone: buttery, slightly savory, a tad dry and sweet. Wished there was more cheese in dough and salt? 3/5 Sea salt chocolate croissants: buttery, fluffy, flaky, enhanced by 2 small batons of dark chocolate, light sprinkling of sea salt. 4/5 Morning bun: plain looking danish-style bun had a light aroma of orange zest, rolled in sugar. Kinda dry 3/5 Twice baked almond croissants: it's everything you'd expect a top notch almond croissant to be and not too sweet. They didn't skimp on the almond paste filling and almonds on top. 5/5 This is an essential item for every visit. I don't need to go to Canada for my cravings. -Will try other seasonal items and din-in to experience rooftop patio. -Pricing is fair for real butter and high- end quality bakes.

Floral - Light - Tasteful. Well presented, classily decorated, and neatly designed for open space. Great spot to get some bubbly with friends or meet up for a coffee date. Upstairs patio was a great place to chill and enjoy the nice weather. Lavender latte and the cardamom rose latte were not too floral, flavors weren't very present. My only complaint was no public WiFi.
